The pre-trip meeting will be held in Orlando, FL at the Edgewater High School media center on October 2 8, 2004.  Please check out the  updated information page if you can not make the pre-trip meeting.   A $200.00 refundable deposit will be collected to secure your spot until your  first payment is received.  A gradual payment schedule is offered to break up the total amount of $850.00.  The classroom and pool dates are to be announced.   

The tentative weekly schedule is:
TBA - classroom session with review, quizzes and final exam.
TBA - Pool session with skills review
Sunday - transportation to Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport for departure to Bimini, Bahamas with pool sessions occurring upon arrival.
Monday - morning diving with afternoon deep sea fishing charter.
Tuesday - morning diving with afternoon exploration session at the Shark Institute.
Wednesday - transportation to Bimini Airport for departure to Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport and transportation to Orlando.

All trips depart from Orlando,  Florida.

 If you are 8 years old, you can join the PADI Seal Team and learn the basics of diving in a pool.  Complete Five Aqua Missions and up to Ten specialty Aqua Missions.  Completion of your Aqua Missions can give you a totally cool PADI Seal Team Membership Card.  These Aqua Missions link PADI Seals to the Junior Scuba Diver or Junior Open Water Diver course when they are old enough and ready.

The tentative weekly schedule is:
Monday - Morning hands on learning with daily plan overview and ecosystem modeling.  Afternoon Aqua Missions.
Tuesday - Morning hands on learning with daily plan overview and dissection.  Afternoon Aqua Missions.
Wednesday - Morning hands on learning with daily plan overview and freshwater microscope studies.  Afternoon Aqua Missions.
Thursday - Morning hands on learning with daily plan overview and project WILD activities.  Afternoon Aqua Missions.
Friday - Hands on learning at Blue  Springs  with a manatee program, snorkeling lesson, hiking and exploring.
