Spring & Summer Scuba Trip Offerings

Our Bahamas trips are always sold out and always a lot of fun.   A $250.00 refundable deposit will be collected to secure your spot until your  first payment is received.  A gradual payment schedule is offered to break up the total amount of $850.00 for the full week.  The tentative weekly schedule is: Monday - classroom session with review, quizzes and final exam. Tuesday - pool session with skills practice. Wednesday - transportation to Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport for departure to Bimini, Bahamas.  (possible afternoon dive) Thursday - morning diving with afternoon deep sea fishing charter. Friday - morning diving with afternoon marine biology program at the Shark Institute. Saturday - transportation to Bimini Airport for departure to Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport and transportation to Orlando. (possible morning dive) All trips depart from Orlando,  Florida. What's Included PADI open water crew pack (book, dive table; student folder) PADI certification, ID card, and 1 ACE college credit Classroom & Pool instruction in Orlando, Florida All SCUBA equipment rental (pool and Bimini) SCUBA tank rentals, air fills, weights, pool fees, and wetsuit rental 4 days and 3 nights accommodations at the Yacht Club in Bimini, Bahamas Breakfasts, Lunches & Dinners  in Bimini Roundtrip airfare from Ft. Winter Scuba Diving Programs - CRYSTAL RIVER MANATEES! (*Students must be already certified and participants with their own gear will be offered a discounted rate.)      Winter marks manatee season in Florida.  Actually the manatees are here year round, but congregate in the warmer springs during the colder months.  Dive the pristine waters of Kings Spring, world famous for it's diving.  Experience exciting rock formations that tell the tales of Florida's geological past.      Located on the west coast of Florida, north of Tampa, Crystal River offers an easy, safe, open cavern dive loaded with both fresh and salt water fish.  The freshwater spring is "crystal" clear and 72 degrees year round.  The cost of this all day adventure is $130.00 and includes the following services:  roundtrip transportation to and from Crystal River (leaving from Orlando), scuba equipment rental (weights, tanks, air, bcd, regulator & wetsuit), boat dive, supervision, snorkel dive, credit towards the PADI naturalist and navigator specialty certifications and snacks.         Dive with a PADI certified and experienced Dive Master and Instructor.  Space is limited to 6 participants and advanced naturalist credit available.        *Remember that manatees are wild animals; all efforts will be made to see them, however no guarantees are made.  The dives will take place regardless if the manatees are present or not.

Fall - WEST PALM BEACH - Drift Dive Travel to West Palm Beach Florida to explore and photograph colorful reefs, giant sea turtles, gentle reef fish, Florida lobster and ship wrecks.  Enjoy drift diving at its very best in warm, clear tropical waters. You will drift effortlessly along with the warm Gulf Stream and at the end of the dive the boat will be there to pick you up.  Price includes: 2 - 45 minute naturalist dives (can be used towards your advanced rating or towards the naturalist specialty), tanks, air, weights, BCD, regulator, wet suit, and instruction.  Transportation can be provided for an additional cost upon request.   Price is $110.00 Payment in full due 14 days before departure. (*Students must already be certified.  Participants with their own gear will be offered a discounted rate.)  There will be no refunds due to inclement weather within 48 hours of the dive, however we will try to reschedule.

Fall - Devils Den - Spring Dive (*Students must be already certified and participants with their own gear will be offered a discounted rate.)      Dive in a prehistoric underground spring.  Actually walk in through a cave to get to the dive site.  Really Cool!  This is a real cave, not a human creation.  Devil's Den is an underground spring inside a dry cave.  Remains of many extinct animals from the Pleistocene Age (2million years ago) have been discovered here, including bones of early humans dating back to 75,000bc.  Located in Williston, Florida, near Gainesville, the springs are part of the Central Florida Ridge.  Water temperatures are 72 degrees year round and this spring contains many fascinating rock formations.  Cost of this exciting trip is $85.00 and includes park admission (facilities - spring, shower & pool), 45 minute naturalist dive (can be used towards your advanced rating or towards the naturalist specialty), tanks, air, weights, BCD, regulator, wet suit, and instruction.  Transportation can be provided for an additional cost upon request.
