About the Author

Mrs. Lopatka came to the United States in 1947 as a European immigrant and established her own reweaving business in 1949, maintaining a steady business since.  She has virtually no competition anywhere.  Along with her local business comprised from leading men's and women's apparel stores, tailors, dry cleaning establishments and department stores, she also has many out of town customers who send damaged clothing from as far away as 150miles.

During her 30 plus years in business, still in the same location, Mrs. Lopatka raised four children without the aid of a babysitter since she worked in her home.  She is able to set her own business hours, working as much or as little as she chooses.

Her business enjoys a good reputation; many customers hear of her through word of mouth in addition to her advertisement in the yellow pages of her local telephone directory.  She is a member in good standing with the Chamber of Commerce.

Reweaving has been a satisfying and challenging career for Mrs. Lopatka.  Now that she is ready to retire, she wishes to share her unique and profitable skills with others.
