YingExpo Teacher Meeting at Edgewater High School TBA
School Registrations Are Due. Students determine their topic and do background research to begin developing questions before doing any experimentation. TBA 
Students finalize their experimental design, complete the research plan (1A-problem, procedure; bibliography) and acquire the proper signatures on forms 1B & other protocol papers necessary. (All signatures must be dated prior to experimentation.) Log on to http://www.societyforscience.org/isef/document/index.asp  for forms. September, 2009
IRB/SRC meeting (3:30pm @ Edgewater High, media center) -  Only projects requiring protocol papers (human subjects, vertebrates, microbiology, bacteria, fungus, lasers, archeology, chemicals, etc) are due today for approval. NOTE:  Any project without prior approval signatures may be rejected at the January registration meeting! Approval is necessary for our county fair winners to go on and compete at the state and international levels. TBA
Students should be finalizing all experimentation.  This includes completing their data analysis, research & literature review, and displays for presentation.  All schools should complete their school fairs and select their top projects for the DNYOCSE. December, 2009

50th Anniversary YingExpo project set-up at Rollins College gymnasium from 3-8pm 
(bring all notebooks, display items, and research report, only the equipment necessary for judging). Follow the Display and Safety Checklist - no live plants, animals or dangerous apparatus or chemicals.  Follow the size requirements - 48 inches wide, 30 inches deep & 108 inches high.
